Yesterday was an opening of a new exhibition at the University Medical Centre Ljubljana. The exhibition is actually a double solo, the other guy (whom I didn’t have the honor of meeting before) being Darko Slavec. According to one of his students, he is the tzar, meaning not only is he an ultrakewl dude, but an excellent painter as well. And he is. His big canvas series named Suns just sweeps you off your feet. During the opening, a few music pieces were performed wonderfully by a young accordion player Nejc Grm, who happens to be a student of another friend of mine, a composer, accordion virtuoso and a music teacher Ernö Sebastian.
My works are this time printed on heavy stock watercolor paper in form of large format (not so large compared to Slavec’s canvases) triptychs, which proved to be just the right decision for the occasion. Here are some of Slavec’s works.

Darka Slavca pa jaz kot zaprisežen hiperrealist poznam že dooolgo…no, on ve da obstajam čeprav nikoli nisen zvedel kaj si misli o mojih delih.
