A quick Photoshop tip: to apply nondestructive noise filter to an image folow theese steps:
- add new layer
- fill layer with 50% gray and and set it’s blending mode to Overlay
- apply noise filter to this layer (Filter/Noise/Add Noise) with settings like Ammount=8, Distribution=Gaussian, Monochromatic=ON
- adjust layer opacity to fine-tune amount of noise
