One can access Mangart Saddle, the highest road in Slovenia, from different directions: from Lake Predil, from Trenta valley or from Bovec. The steep, winding and quite exposed road with several tunnels carved into rock bed was rebuilt upon the old military road reaching 2055 meters above sea level.

Slovene blacksmiths call mechanical forging hammer the madman, hence the title. This collage was composed from new imagery taken in Kropa just a few days ago. Available on request as an affordable signed and numbered limited edition print or canvas transfer of up to 72 x 100 cm.
There’s this beautiful door in center of Bled all by itself, the only remains of a house torn down. It stands there for a while now and as much as one can hope it to remain as it is, you can never be sure it will be there tomorrow. So here it is for you, in case it should disappear like the house it once belonged to.
