A quick Photoshop tip: to apply nondestructive noise filter to an image folow theese steps:

  1. add new layer
  2. fill layer with 50% gray and and set it’s blending mode to Overlay
  3. apply noise filter to this layer (Filter/Noise/Add Noise) with settings like Ammount=8, Distribution=Gaussian, Monochromatic=ON
  4. adjust layer opacity to fine-tune amount of noise
